Hi, I’m Dawn,

I am the founder and CEO of Dawn to Dusk Alchemy.

With 20+ Years in Holistic Medicine, I’m proud to bring you all my collection of products to help you Mentally, Emotionally and Physically.

How it all started…

Our story starts in 1997 when we were visiting the Republic of South Africa on a family holiday to see family. I took a keen interest in my Sister-in-Law’s business and knowledge around Holistic medicines.

Needless to say, I was hooked!

Whilst out in South Africa I was lucky enough to have a wonderful opportunity to visit the Sangoma women in Shamwari. I was introduced to their herbs and roots and how they are used and prepared. It was life changing.

Returning back to the U.K, my new-found interest had me researching and more and more into the subject. I then started growing, drying and preparing herbs myself and learning how each herb has a different remedy and aid to many different ailments.

How holistic medicine helped me…

After learning about the benefits of comfrey, and how it it eases nagging pain and swelling, I started making my own ointment. This led to growing and using other herbs, benefiting mentally from the frangrance and calming effects, as well as herbal teas for such as peppermint for digestive symptoms.

15 years ago I was tragically stricken down and diagnosed after a long exhausting journey with a debilitating Illness with a cruel reputation of fatigue and pain and this very quickly took its toll.

After an 8-year battle my mental strength triumphed and I continued my passion of herbalism which I believe is the key to mastering and overcoming my debilitating condition.

My Qualifications

2018 became the year I fought back and became:
Dawn Cooper O.A.Dip Master Herbalist and O.A.Dip Medicinal Herbs.

With new-found confidence and strength building I continued my research and stumbled across the processes of curating soaps, ointments and much more. I went back to my studies and successfully gained a diploma qualification in the manufacture of soaps and kindred products including the required disciplines and regulations governing their manufacture and sales.

My other qualifications include:

Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
Certification in Teaching, City & Guilds

Level 3 Soap Making & Business Studies
Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety for Manufacturing

Starting Dawn to Dusk Alchemy

Dawn to Dusk Alchemy was born with ambitions and passion for 100% natural, sustainable ingredients and to spread my enthusiasm for herbal and holistic products. I wanted to make it easier for people to find and use natrual remedies as well as supplement my income in my later years.

My products are designed to help soothe, smooth and heal whether it’s mentally, emotionally or physically.

Many of these products and ingredients come from locally sourced resources and hold a special place in my heart. I wish that all of my products have the same impact to my consumers.

I believe that if you look after nature, nature will look after you!
